I’m the Haphazard Sourdough Baker, and I believe great bread comes from learning, not perfection.

I’ve made every mistake you can imagine, and my loaves still come out beautifully.

I want to show you how to make sourdough bread here in Colorado Springs, in a way that feels doable, forgiving, and fun!

Pop-Up Classes!

Learn the basics of sourdough in this hands-on class while making delicious sourdough cinnamon twists! You’ll learn how to prepare, shape, and bake your twists from start to finish, with plenty of helpful tips along the way to make the beginning of your sourdough journey easier. Best of all, you’ll bake your cinnamon twists during class and get to enjoy the finished product!

Each guest will enjoy sourdough snacks and a slice of freshly baked whole wheat sourdough during class. You’ll also go home with your own sourdough starter, instructions for feeding and caring for it, and the recipe so you can continue baking at home.

Cost: $60 per adult & $50 for kids age 6-11 (with an adult)

Learn the basics of sourdough bread in this hands-on class! You’ll learn how to make an artisan loaf and rolls using the same versatile dough. During class, each guest will make a couple of rolls to take home and bake, with plenty of helpful tips along the way to make the beginning of your sourdough journey easier.

Each guest will enjoy sourdough snacks and a slice of freshly baked whole wheat sourdough during class. You’ll also go home with your own sourdough starter, instructions for feeding and caring for it, and the bread recipe so you can continue baking at home.

Kids ages 6–11 are welcome to join for $50 with a paying adult; kids do not receive their own starter.
